Lake Keoweeboat rental

Call (864) 508-2410
Lake Keowee on a clear day, a long channel of blue-green water between wooded shores, with clear shallows and overhanging branches in front.

A day on Keowee

Wide water, quiet coves, and room for the whole crew

Lake Keowee is made for a long, easy day. The main channels run wide and open, so there’s room to cruise without feeling hemmed in, and the shoreline breaks into coves where the water is perfect for swimming and picnicking.

It suits families and groups of friends. The tritoon’s deck is flat and railed, the seating wraps around, and there’s space for coolers and bags without anyone tripping over them.

Find a cove, set the anchor, and swim off the back wherever you like. If the kids want speed later in the afternoon, the open channel is good tubing water; add a tube and the day is $625 cash or $650 by card.

Planning

How a Keowee day usually goes

  1. Night before

Pack a cooler with lunch, snacks, and more water than seems necessary. Add sunscreen, hats, towels, and swimsuits.

  2. Morning

Get to Crowe Creek early. The lake is at its calmest before ten, and you’ll have your pick of the coves.

  3. Late afternoon

Leave yourself time for the ride back and hand the boat over at the dock where you started.

Curious about the boat itself? See the tritoon and full pricing. Want mountains and waterfalls instead? Read about a day on Lake Jocassee.
